The RTC program continues to expand its program offerings and training opportunities. We are proud to have successfully coordinated over twenty eight (28) courses with instructor teams from over ten (10) different law enforcement agencies, with a growing alumni database of over three thousand five hundred (3,500) alumni. We count this as a major feat and we’re so excited to see this community grow!
It has been a wonderful year and we wish to express our immense appreciation to the U.S. Department of State- Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), partner U.S. Law Enforcement Agencies, Government Stakeholders, Instructors, Alumni and the RTC staff for supporting the RTC’s mission of building regional cooperation and strengthening the capacity of criminal justice officials.
We would like to dedicate this blog post to all of our partners for making our training year a huge success.

Many thanks to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and their experienced team of instructors who run specialized courses on law enforcement techniques used to combat crime. The FBI has also been very instrumental in delivering a wide range of investigative courses, which include Financial Investigations courses, Investigative Interviewing and Interrogation Techniques courses.
It’s always a pleasure working with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) on trafficking related courses. We were reminded of the level of effort it takes to arrest, prosecute and ensure that justice is served for the perpetrators of this terrible crime.

Looking at courses delivered on fraudulent documents and air cargo/ land border interdiction, only these agencies come to mind: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Thanks to CBP & ICE for training participants in the identification of fraudulent documents with a focus on securing our airport and land border environments.
Ever wondered which agency specializes in facilitating courses on protecting fishes and preventing illegal fishing activities? That will be U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), which deliver the Fisheries Enforcement and Prosecution course.

Finally, we would like to also commend the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) for putting together the all – Women Leadership Course with the aim of developing efficient female law enforcement leaders.
