Although women are historically less likely to seek careers in law enforcement, the women in the field always boast of the thrill that comes with their job and the fulfillment they get when they surmount a crisis. This month, let’s take a look at what some of our Senegalese and Beninese alumni from the 2019 Leadership for Women in Law Enforcement (LWLE) and 2018 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) courses have been doing in the fight against the spread of COVID-19. They share how the leadership skills acquired have enabled them to play leading roles in ensuring that measures outlined by the government are adhered to. Hope this makes an interesting read!
We appreciate our female alumni who constantly share their experiences as they confront new realities in spite of challenges associated with their law enforcement careers. You can also share your story with the RTC today via info@westafricartc.org
